A stand by Syrian, Arab Communities in Toronto in solidarity with Syria in facing embargo ...Syria

Ottawa, SANA- As a part of the campaign (Lift Siege on Syria) the Syrian and Arab Communities in Canada, staged a solidarity stand with the Syrian people and in rejection of unjust embargo imposed on the country. The participants, who gathered in front of US Embassy Headquarters in Toronto, affirmed necessity to lift the Western blockade as soon as possible, stressing their rejection of the criminal US policy through this blockade and its disastrous effects on health, service and humanitarian situation in Syria, especially after the devastating earthquake They also raised the Syrian flag and banners denouncing the siege and calling for immediate lifting.
