January 30, 2023 (KHARTOUM) – Mohamed Hamdan Daglo Hemetti was in Ndjamena on Monday where he discussed with Chadian President Mohamat Deby the security situation in the border area. Hemetti’s visit took place 24 hours after a meeting between Deby and al-Burhan where they agreed to bolster the operations of the joint border force and to share information, due to the inter-communal attack and the situation in the neighbouring Central African Republic (SAR).
