The Legislature should repeal AB 257 ...Middle East

One of the most grotesque pieces of legislation signed into law by Gov. Gavin Newsom last year was Assembly Bill 257. Introduced by Asm. Chris Holden, D-Pasadena, the bill seeks to impose a Fast Food Council to dictate pay and labor conditions to fast food restaurants. Just before the new year, a judge in Sacramento put a hold on implementation of the law.
