New York, SANA-Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, reaffirmed that the Palestinian cause will ever remain the central issue for Syria that will continue to support the Palestinian people and their inalienable right to self-determination. “Syria backs the Palestinians’ right to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital, giving the Palestinian state full membership at the UN with the return of refugees to their home according to resolution No. 194 of 1948,” Mikdad said in a message addressed to “the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People” which held a special session today celebrating the International Day of Solidarity
