Football fever grips DESS ...Qatar

With just days to go until the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, football fever has taken hold at Doha English Speaking School (DESS). Fan zones and training grounds have sprung up all over the school. As part of the World Cup buildup, every class in the school picked a country out of a hat and produced a window or garden display based on that particular country. The winning classes were selected based on originality, work created by the children themselves and displays that featured something to learn about the country. The winners and runners-up are as follows: FS Winner: FS2 Pink Ecuador, Runner-up: FS2 Wales, KS1 Winner: 2B Germany, Runner-up: 2A Australia, KS2 Winner: 4D
