Republican Yemen Yemen’s National Defense Council labeled on Saturday the Iran-backed Houthi militia a terrorist group. The designation came two days following drone attacks carried out by the rebels on Hadramout’s Dabba oil port. The council said labeling the Houthis as a terrorist group was in accordance with the Crimes and Penalties Law, the Arab Convention on Combating Terrorism, and international and regional conventions and treaties ratified by the Republic of Yemen.
