* The initiative comes on the occasion of the International Day of Charity   Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), in co-ordination with the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC), has distributed hundreds of food parcels comprising daily commodities among workers in the Doha Industrial Area on the occasion of the International Day of Charity which falls on Sept 5 annually. This humanitarian initiative comes as part of the "One Hand" Programme initiated by the QRCS' Volunteering and Local Development Sector in a bid to mitigate the workers' sufferings and to contribute to improving their living conditions, and in appreciation for their efforts exerted to build the society and to achieve it
