July 27, 2022 (KHARTOUM) – The Sudanese Communist Party (SCP) Wednesday accused the military coup leaders and their allied armed groups of being behind the attack on the rally of the Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC) in Khartoum to denounce tribal violence in the country. According to the Central Committee of Sudanese Doctors, 25 people were injured in an attack on the FFC-organised march by unidentified elements using tear gas, knives and batons. The Resistance Committee of the Aldyiom Alsharquiya suburb had rejected the demonstration. However, they denied carrying out this attack, which targeted the FFC leaders.
