Head of Yemen’s PLC meets with UN Special Envoy in Aden ...Yemen

Republican Yemen Head of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Rashad Al Alimi met today with UN Special Envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg in Aden, Yemen’s interim capital. During the meeting, Al Alimi told Grundberg that he fully supports the UN-sponsored ceasefire truce, underscoring the importance of opening roads to Taiz, which is home to over 4 million residents that have been besieged by the Houthi rebels since 2015.
