Pakistan National Assembly Speaker administers oath to Hamza Shehbaz as Punjab CM ...Middle East

Pakistan National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on Saturday administered the oath to Punjab Chief Minister-elect Hamza Shehbaz even as Governor Omar Sarfraz Cheema rejected Usman Buzdar's resignation, deeming it "not constitutionally valid". The oath-ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and a naat, after which Hamza was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Punjab, Dawn newspaper reported.
