The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has completed the Al Aziziya tank project for rainwater collection, in co-operation with Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF), to enhance rainwater drainage networks in the Al Aziziya area. “The tank was designed and constructed underground with a capacity of *28,000m3 as an alternative to using almost 3,000 tankers for dewatering,” Ashghal said in a statement. “The depth of digging the tanker reached *90,000m3, which is equivalent to digging 35 Olympic swimming pools.” “Latest implementation techniques have been used in this project to accelerate the construction process within the preparation plan for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022,” the statement added.   Khalid
