Tunisian crisis escalates as president dissolves Parliament ...Middle East

Tunisian President Kais Saied on Wednesday said he would dissolve the parliament after it defied him with an online vote to repeal decrees that he used to assume near total power. Speaking after an online session of more than half the parliament members, their first since July, Saied accused those who took part of a failed coup and a conspiracy against state security and ordered investigations into them.
