EDGNEX has broken ground on its new 17,720sqm data centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The data centre will have a maximum IT load of 20MW and is expected to go live in Q3, 2023. According to a statement from the firm, it identified Industrial City 2 as the location for its next data centre, as it will be just 19km away from city centre and 47km from the airport. The facility’s close proximity to the city centre will provide low-latency access to the entire Saudi market, and customers will benefit from high-fibre density and connectivity options.
