Waitrose certainly won over the nation with its clever whodunnit Christmas advert for the 2024 campaign. Viewers were scrambling to dissect the clues and work out who stole the yummy No. 1 Red Velvet Bauble Dessert, with over 18,000 Waitrose customers voting for who they thought was the culprit (Fig the Cat came out on top). Part 2 of the advert is now out and finally uncovers the festive thief as none other than Steve (Dustin Demri-Burns), who only 8 per cent of people suspected. The advert starts with Matthew Macfadyen’s detective working out the movements of the dinner guests, before quickly surmising someone must’ve conceal
